Customer Server Option for United States ITAR
(International Traffic in Arms Regulations with respect to Electronic Data)
Due to the ITAR and other corporate requirements for total security of information, we can offer CIS as a server option to be loaded by your personnel onto your server. However, please understand that CIS is a SQL database using a .Net interface to allow CIS to run on the internet therefore allowing a true multi-user platform world-wide!
Customer's information is backed up regularly and secured by the most current firewall and a team of security experts world-wide who work with OpSource.
But for specialized requirements such as ITAR, we are pleased to offer the ability to have CIS Software installed on the company's server by the company's IT personnel. The company would then be responsible for the information and security as well as managing their own server, applications and applying updates to CIS Software that will be available for download periodically.
When CIS is installed on a company's server, the company would have exclusive access to the Super Administration Panel and would be able to create additional CIS companies within their server system. The cost for this server option must be discussed with our sales/consultants and will depend on how many CIS companies will be set-up on your server. This option is only available to be sold by licensed CIS consultants/resellers in the United States or Canada unless otherwise negotiated directly CIS Head Office.
CIS Programmers will place the software installation files and instructions online for the customer to download and install on their server. The following will be included:

Support for Server Installations
CIS Software support is the same as for all CIS Software . However, when CIS Software is on the customer's server, many other issues may arise that will affect the proper functioning of CIS Software. IT professionals may change server settings, permissions, update software, update virus and firewall settings that can all have an effect on how CIS Software functions. Therefore, when these types of problems arise, we offer server support directly with our programmers charged by incident.
