By using CIS to manage your documents, you will have access to all documents from wherever you are by accessing the internet and logging into CIS. This feature is especially useful for sales representatives, satellite offices or the famous road warriors representing your company.
· Built in document management system to easily manage all of your procedures, forms, training material, training videos, company policies and external documents;
· Document management system has an automatic approval process, assigns revision numbers to all documents, and increases them incrementally as a document are revised;
· Managers that are required to approve documents are sent automatic e-mail notifications with links when document’s require their review and approval;
· Approvals by managers are logged and recorded automatically;
· Only selected manager can approve applicable documents;
· Unapproved or obsolete documents cannot be accessed by personnel;
· Complete document history log including controlled access to obsolete documents (only personnel with approval can access this section)
· User creates custom document sections to place documents such as management procedures, work instructions, training material, laboratory procedures or any other type of sections (unlimited). Creating sections allows for quick and simple access to required documentation;
· Tracks paper document location, revisions and status when not available electronically;
· All types of electronic files may be uploaded and controlled including video files and pictures;
· Access to each section can be controlled so that only selected personnel can access a certain section. For example, executive management or sales could have a unique section for their use in documents that only they can see and have access. Other personnel would not even know these sections exist.
